I have worked with Lansdown for over 5 years. I have 19 years’ experience within the commercial sector ranging from Property to Charities. My role here is to handle buildings insurance for mainly blocks of flats, both arranging new policies and handling questions and renewals for existing clients.

Matt Johnson Commercial Account Executive

I have over twelve years’ insurance experience within the industry, the majority of these at Lansdown. I currently work in the commercial department looking after both new and existing clients.

My passion is the sales aspect and I really enjoy talking to people.

I have worked within the NHS for the last six years in a GP surgery where I looked after multiple teams and systems dealing with customer service, admin and management.

In my spare time, I enjoy fixing up my house and spend a lot of time with family and friends. I also love travelling all around the world whenever I can.

It is my goal to help clients understand where their risk exposures are finding an insurance solution which make sense for them to give peace of mind.

Outside of work, I volunteer as a school governor.

I have worked in the insurance industry for over 6 years. Notably, working as an Underwriter specialising in High-Net-Worth Home Insurance and a broker covering Personal Lines, helping make Consumer insurance clear. Currently, I am studying for my CII exams.

I am a keen supporter of Aston Villa; I spend most nights in the gym, enjoy playing piano and cooking.

I have worked within travel insurance for the last few years which included classic car and military vehicles.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my partner, friends and I’m very keen on travelling. We’re planning lots of weekend trips in 2023, including multiple to Germany so I am brushing up on my German! I also taught myself to sew in lockdown and my best achievement with that was making my partner a waistcoat for his sister’s wedding.

My responsibilities as a Commercial Support Assistant at Lansdown include supporting our Account Executives with relevant renewal documents, liaising with clients and insurance brokers and conducting administrative tasks on a day-to-day basis. In addition, through working at Lansdown for over a year, I have established myself as a part of the social engagement committee within the business, which has included organising volunteering/charity days to support our local communities.
