Lansdown Insurance Brokers are proud to have been able to donate £5,000 to the James Hopkins Trust on 7th March 2018, which takes our total donation to them over the last six months to £8,750.
Bipin, Darren, Mandy and Catherine from our team met with Sarah James, Head of Fund Raising at the Trust, along with a number of lovely children to present them with the cheque. In a thank you email Sarah said:
“The amount you donated today was breathtaking and to have benefited from your practical help as well as a staggering £8,750 in just a mere six months is priceless and we don’t take your friendship and support lightly and we all appreciate it greatly.”
The James Hopkins Trust are currently supporting 100 families throughout Gloucestershire who have a young child with a life threatening or life limiting condition. The children they care for have many different complex nursing needs and the James Hopkins Trust is able to offer much needed nursing respite for free at their purpose built multi-sensory respite centre. As well as respite, they provide practical and emotional help. Our donation of £5,000 will pay for respite care for two children for a year.
